Taiwan - Day 5

This morning, after breakfast we went straight to the tourist center. From there we took a bus to Puli bus interchange and change to another bus to CingJing. We still have some time left before the next bus arrives at Puli so we decided to walk around.
This is where we are going to stay tonight.

The view from our room. The toilet is huge but there is no bathtub!! what a disappointment.

Taiwan - Day 4

This morning we need to go back to the high speed train station, we need to catch a bus to the Sun Moon Lake.
The bus ride was awfully long, definitely more than an hour. Here's the bus we took.
We dropped our luggage at the B&B and went straight to the ferry dock, we need to take the ferry which will be bringing us to the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village.

We still need to take a cable car before reaching our destination.
I'm a prisoner.........
There is a beautiful garden at the end of the village.
Riding the train around the village.
The B&B - Tan-Hui modern hotel is not modern at all. First of all the bedroom is super duper small, secondly the bathroom + toilet is supeeeeeeeeer duper small. The toilet bowl got flooded the next day with Daddy's poo poo.

Taiwan - Day 3

We have packed our belongings to a smaller luggage as we will be checking out the hotel today and we are moving to Taichung for the next 3 days.
Took the high speed train from Taipei to Taichung, the traveling time is about an hour.

Mum has booked a driver who will be driving us around today. When we reached the train station, it was raining cats and dogs but still we have to move on with our plan as the driver is already there for us.
Our first stop is the Lavender farm but it was raining so heavily that we are not able to see the lavender, was so disappointed..............
The driver drove us to this flower sea festival which is just around the corner, we heard today is the last day of the festival. Here are some photos we took.

The sunflowers are withering.....
Look at the crowds!
Next we went to the Carton King. The rain hasn't stop.
Everything inside here are made of cartons.
On our way to our B&B - Tomato Rooms, we drop by this mushroom farm.
Here's where we are going to sleep tonight - the Tomato rooms.
My boots was wet and soggy due to the rainfall. Bought a new pair of boots from the night market nearby. Time for bedtime.
